Biography
Dr. Azad Hosseinpouri was a doctor who was killed in Mahabad during the November 2022 Iranian protest movements. He is remembered as a martyr for freedom in Mahabad. Later, government agents reportedly removed the word "Shahid" (martyr) from his tombstone.
دکتر آزاد حسینپوری پزشکی بود که در مهاباد و در جریان اعتراضات آبان ۱۴۰۱ کشته شد. او به عنوان شهید راه آزادی در مهاباد شناخته میشود. بعدها، عوامل حکومتی واژه «شهید» را از سنگ مزار او حذف کردند.
